I hope it is that close. The Jets roster is filled with AHL prospects as they tank their way to the finish line. I will miss most of the game, but I would expect a more lobsided loss unless LA takes the night off.

Buff only gets really physical if he is pissed off. There are no shortage of guys in LA who are capable of getting to him, but we shall see. Like Blue Hooligan pointed out, the team looks very different than the team from the first half of the season. There are a lot of guys on 'try-outs'

 

depends on your level of appreciation. I love watching young players develop, often more than old men who get by on experience and savvy. In that way, I would argue there is much to see on Canadian teams currently. I am very much enjoying the Jets right now. They are rolling with all of their prospects and pitting them against bonafide pros. It has been a blast!

I'm actually just ribbing you. The kids are playing really well and the whole vibe with them plus Bozak and Kadri has been really good. I wouldn't be surprised if Toronto takes some big steps in the next few years if we I've been seeing over the last few weeks is the future of what we have.

 

What happened was the ducks clinched a playoff spot!

 

Complacency is what's going on with not only LA but for almost every team that's already locked into the playoffs. It's still no excuse ... LA was dominating the shots, time of possession etc.. but seemed half-assed.

The loss doesn't bother me, it's the lack of urgency ! Pavelec is good but c'mon LA should of had this game !

It's going to get real interesting these last few games. LA better handle Oilers this next home game, as games coming up with SJ and Anaheim, points will become paramount.

 

funny thing ; Pavelec isn't good, but he was tonight. Byfuglien's and Postma's scoring shots came from nearly identical spots on the point. No doubt LA far outchanced WPG. It so happened that Quick was the weaker goalie in this one.
