I think people are still seeing what they want to see. Everyone here I hope has gone house shopping before and saw awesomw, giant bathrooms and rooms and houses and then when you finally get their you're like....is this a house for ants?? It needs to be at least two times bigger!

During the interview the engineer did say the front is increased a few inches. Don't know if that translate to adjustment of the cab dimensions or not.

I watched that interview with the engineer and he stated that the wheelbase was the same and the front over hang was 2 inches bigger and there was an additional inch in the rear. He didn't state anything about the cab being longer which leads me to believe that the rear legroom is still the same. I hope I'm wrong. I really wanted to be able to fit in both the front and back of this truck.

Probably just means they took it out somewhere else. Until proven otherwise by actual Toyota measurements, and not photoshop, I'm convinced it's the same cab size. Did they adjust seats inside and probably take out a lot of the plastics taking up space? Probably.

A lot of plastic in the rear storage. Hate to see that gone though. Pretty helpful IMO.

I thought it was too then had to look for more detailed pics of it and got disappointed lol.

Looks like they still have a spot nearby for it if they ever decided to change their minds

The New 2017 Tacoma needs to have a front looking (360 degree) camera that can come on at 0 to 5mph. I have one on my wife's new RX350 and it is awesome. Imagine going around Montana Mountain near Superior in Arizona and backing up once or twice to get around the steep, sharp curve - hoping you don't hit the rock ahead with your front-end. I really would have liked to have had that feature.
