I wouldn't think it'd be too tough, as long as your not stuffing like a bunch in one box, but then there was the modular idea of multiple boxes. I've got some pretty spendy fishing rods too, but they break down and would fit no prob. I'll have to measure my .300 but I'm sure it would fit with the case. My shotguns have soft cases so that wouldn't be a problem.

I've got two centerpin float rods worth about 7 bills a piece, that I built myself.

Problem is they're 13' long, and are two piece, so they're never fitting in there.

How high do these wide braces on the side go up?
Can you integrate this box to work with this rack too?
Also with a little more bracing, do you think this would handle the weight of a Honda TRX250X, which weighs about 350#? I'm not sure the bed rails could handle it though, now that I think about it.

It's called the cargo area of my 2015 T4R. Technically, Toyota came up with it. :dancingbacon:

They can move up and down. If you look close, the legs on the rack are slotted.

This box would not be able to integrate with the bed of the truck and my rack. One or the other.

The bed rack could handle that weight without bracing.

Yeah I saw the slots, just hard to tell how far up it goes. I was thinking, "is there enough room to open the box with the rack on". That's really a bummer because I really like your rack! Probably more than my wife's!

If only Voodoo would make a non-slanted version of his bed rack so we could use it with a roll-up cover. :)

Has anyone tried the TonneauMate? Doesn't have a sliding rail, but this could be an option just to have a locking box...

I'm not thrilled with the lack of space under it or the lost space down the sides of it. I do like the ruggedized plastic, even tho I can't stand plastic, but it's sturdy. I also think it's a bit overpriced for something that's comparable to a $125 box from Amazon. But they are fairly proprietary so they can charge whatever they want. I just think that $354 is way too steep plus you need the right brackets at $59. It's just not that good of a deal for not so great of a product.

Looks like a good option but if it's mounted at the front if the bed you won't be able to acces it because of the cover and it doesn't look like they have one for the Tacoma.

...and I definitely want access on the top and rear for that reason, in case you don't want to take the tonneau off.

These are super cool, but it kinda makes my $800 tonneau useless. I mean it locks and so does the tailgate and it's waterproof. No need for a tonneau. Maybe if I didn't already have one.

You paid $800 for your tonneau?

If you get an aftermarket hard tonneau cover that's about average.
