I prefer the french press as I already use one everyday. When you boil water then you can also make oatmeal etc..

Planning on getting gears and lockers soon and was wondering if a front locker is needed or would just the rear be okay? Doing mostly overland style. Currently just have an LSD rear

I thought that's what the pocket next to the shifter was for? :notsure:

Helps if you are using GPS on your phone. Also keeps the phone from getting tossed around when we are off-roading. Just on my list. Everyone is different.

Which LSD rear do you have?

I run a TrueTrac LSD in the back and an ARB in the front.

I do mostly overland style travel as well. I like the LSD in the back because it is always there - and 98.5% of the time, is all that is really needed in the dirt. Of course, hit deep sand, mud, wet and slick trails, and things change, but generally, the LSD is sufficient.

I use an x-grip too. One of my favorite things I use regularly. Also made a plate extension to hold my handheld.

Stout as shit and I can swivel it for the passenger. Easy, cheap.

Only stays on when we're doing back to back trips, other wise I put it on a furniture dolly and put it off to the side.

It's way rad, haven't used it in the field yet, but I can already tell it's going to be a game changer for us!
