I've seen alot of switch panels for the little cigarette cubby next to the steering wheel (that's about all its good for) but has anyone tried above the map lights in the headliner? Im sure some of y'all have already pulled the headliner down. And it looks like a badass spot for a whole row of 'look what I can do' or is there too much wiring and such from crawl/locker/LSD etc? Or someone who has more balls than me should check it out... I'd appreciate it lol

@nevadabugle put a row of switches where everyone except those with a slushbox TRD OR has a sunglasses pocket. This thread, post 15. He might be able to give you some direction.

Yeah, but that won't help since everyone in this thread has the off-road package

OP's question was about what kind of room was in that location, behind the map lights. I simply pointed him in the direction of someone who might be able to provide an answer. Besides, not everyone that has scanned the thread has posted and not all TRD ORs are limited to just two pedals.

I do appreciate the help. And I didn't even find that in my search so I'm sure there are others

Couldn't be any more stoked on the way this came out. Simple and clean. These switches run my rear rack flood lights, dust light and one future item once I decide whatever that is.

I wonder if the same guy who created the 3d printed switch panel for the ID pocket to the left of the column could design or print (or anyone else with a printer) a surround that we could put in that headliner spot after cutting the headliner, so it'd hide the cuts and make it look factory

So there is empty space back there? I just want to know if switches and wiring will fit

It'll be a while. I don't do printed projects half assed and it's unlikely I'll get a chance to pull my headliner before I hit the road for a few weeks. Late April is likely the earliest I can get around to devoting any time to this.

    This is more important!
Obviously you don't know who I am... I have many leather bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany... People know me

Understandable, im sure whatever you come up with will be pretty badass and it will probably take until April for me to grow the testicular fortitude to cut my headliner to install anything
