    Meh, maybe 1 1/2", I have one and it sits about an inch about my skid plate. Never had any problem with making contact with anything. I put a small hose clamp over the little lever for the just-in-case situation a stick tries to maul its way in there.

    Also for everyone interested in some skid plates; my new tools should be here next week so I can finally get cracking on these. Also I have setup a paypal account to do the funds handling. Please PM me what you are interested in; full set or individual skids. Make sure that when you decide on skids that you are for sure going to get them please; It will make life easier for all. I am still working out the costs of individual skids and how deposits will be handled. I will have those up soon I hope.

    Disclaimer: I do not run a business, just a guy with the tools, time and want to help people get good quality protection at an affordable price. The skids will not be a made by machines so expect some minor imperfections in them but also expect them to handle anything you drive them into.
