Full 7. No DX29 or whatever that extra overload is called.

Maybe one day. Not anytime soon at least. Well hell, who knows the way this truck is going.

I hate that I would more than likely need an alternator upgrade or dual battery. Not to mention I've seen how these aluminum bumpers handle the winching...

The only time I wish I had one is in the winter when I'm by myself. 99% of the time a strap and buddy fix most problems.

That and I REALLY don't want to run the 886 lol.

So many slippery slopes with certain mods. Ie. Dirty fives.

Oh! I did not know that you were running an aluminum bumper. I would definitely recommend 887 then. If you were running a steel plate bumper with a winch that is the only way I would recommend 886

Thats what I thought to about a winch, ill always have someone else with me. But one trail in the snow and my friend got into a spot at the bottom of a hill, took him 2 minutes to run his winch line and get out. The next truck goes across the same section and gets into the same hole, took us almost 2 hours to get him out since he didn't have a winch. Went and bought a winch the next day.

Caught in the same hole but facing the other way. Longer wheel base ftw, I didn't get stuck :D Also I don't have an upgraded alternator or dual battery, works just fine

Funny enough, a winch is the only thing my gf wants me to get.

Maybe I put it off cause I know ill always be able to fall back on that.

Maybe I'll ask her to split the price...

Its definitely worth it. Saved my ass just yesterday actually lol even if you have a buddy with you a winch could make getting you out a lot easier/faster. Icy snow made me just slide right off, couldn't steer at all. Front and rear were locked.

Probably in the Federal vehicle code. I think some states just enforce parts of the code and others don't.

Installed my rear bumper this afternoon. Here are some teaser shots. I really like it. The new bumper is actually lighter than the stock bumper and hitch so my rear end stood up a bit.... May have to figure something out. Perhaps remove a leaf. I have about 3" of rake now.

Looks good (even the upside down body section):p. What about after you get the swing out on with gear and tent, should be close to level and you leafs should still be settling. I like rake, it's like pre load for gear.

Awesome!! I'm hoping to get a little time with the grinder and wire wheel today for mine. Probably a long shot, but is there any chance you know how much higher the TG hitch sits than the stick one did? I'm trying to figure out what how much drop in going to need.

Obviously, you don't have all your gear in the truck! LOL

Don't forget, the trailer will add weight too.

Thanks dude. The swing out shouldn't weight that much and the tent is doing on the trailer. 3" of rake is a lot haha. I'm not doing anything with the suspension until I get all of that sorted out so we will see.

I'll take some measurements in a minute.....

Edit: the hitch is 5.5" higher than stock.

Yea I know but 3" of rake is a lot. I can't imagine that with that little trailer and some gear that the dakars will sag 3in. I'm not going to mess with it yet but it was just an observation.
