You should check it. I know some of the mountain towns gained some population too, but nothing like denver metro area.

Yeah but the more peeps in Denver, the more are gonna wanna leave on the weekends and my place is a 2 hour drive. 385 miles of trail systems, 3 reservoirs, and 7 of Co's highest peaks are in view on my pad, so.......idk, just thinkin'!

I currently rely on a gpx viewer/tracking app on the android phone to load a route file and track myself to ensure I stay on the right route in the wilderness back roads.
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vecturagames.android.app.gpxviewer&hl=en

The app uses google maps. Even if the map isn't cached, I can still see the dot and the route on a blank screen so I know if I've taken a wrong turn. Many route files also have markers for interesting places to see or stop at along the way.

I wish Entune can have a feature to run a route file (GPX, KML, or KMZ) so I can rely on the Entune screen.

Download a GPX viewer app for you phone. I use this for Android.
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vecturagames.android.app.gpxviewer&hl=en

The app will show your route and your current GPS location. So even without a cached map, you know which way to turn when you encounter unmarked intersections. What you will need is to download the GPS route file (usually in KMZ, KML, or GPX). Just google "gps route" plus your destination and or source location to find them. There are many online apps to help you convert between the file formats so you can use in your app.

Do you have any more photos of your ride? Haven't seen many MGM OR DC LB's on here and mine is still a few weeks out. Thanks!

I'm always tempted to take some of those many random trails I see out there. Do you live out that way? Beautiful area.

nah I live in Albany, so it's a little bit of a drive. Made a spur of the moment trip to Bend to get out of town and hit up the side trails on the way home. I feel the same way about always wanting to veer off onto the random trails. Some of the trails were a waste of time, but the majority of them were pretty fun!

I want to make it all the way up to Hobart next weekend but with snow and having to get back I'll save it for another day.

Calico Hills behind Calico ghost town.

Calico is no joke. The ghost town is a joke, but the hills behind it are not. There are a ton of trails I will never consider doing in this rig
