I'm right there with ya though!

The wheels that came with my truck are actually priced higher than ones id pick if i got new wheels...

But... On the contract it doesn't say which rims and tires the truck came with So how will they know?

I paid extra for the XP package that came with bfg rugged terrain and XD rockstar 2 wheels... But it doesn't show that on the paper ?


Did you also pay 300 for the warranty? I mean even if they don't cover full cost on upgraded wheels 300 won't go far when you break a couple rims. And even if you never need it how far can that 300 reimbursement go?

I just think $5000/5year reassurance is worth more than 300 personally... But then again my luck is horrible haha!

 

Not really.. But mentally i feel like the truck is happier.

Biggest mpg increase i noticed is using premium fuel. Dont want to start another gas debate but i notice consistently this:
87 i never can get over 17 mpg or so..
89 it averages about 18.5 mpg or so..
93 it will stay in the 20's mpg range.
Not really any performance deference in fuel selection but i believe the higher the fuel the higher mpg on these truck...

Try it. Tell me u dont notice it reading higher mpg with 93.

 

What did you find out about the low tranny issue?

Count me in,I have been happy with 87 average 18.8 so worth trying for a 20±

 

Was the low tranny fluid only happening on certain models?

I heard that it was on all the trucks with the tow package. its because they didn't account for the external tranny cooler. Have you heard the same?

 

Less then .20 cents difference between regular and premium. I have ran premium in all my rigs since my 07 FJ and it definitely ran smoother. 2010 Tacoma got better mileage using premium compared to regular. And I haven't seen anything less then 20mpg using premium in my 16'. So I'd say for the .20 more for premium it's worth it to me.

 

Received my 265/70/17 Geolanders. Ran a set on my `12 JK and really liked them. Hope they feel the same on this. Waiting on TRD Pros from Olathe. Pretty yippy skippy about getting them on.

Holy crap only 20 cent difference?!?
Here it's a 50-60 cent between each grade. We have 85, 87, 91. So from 85 to 91 it's anywhere from $1-$1.30ish jump per gallon.

Regular is $1.99 and premium is $2.21as of this morning. So I lied! It's a .22 cent difference haha.

 

I would be getting premium too if it was that price difference. Here it's roughly:

85-$1.75
87-$2-25
91-$2.80

 

That upper is Bad to the Ass.
