If the state you reside in does not require a tag on a utility trailer you don't need one if you cross state line. It's in the tca but can't remember the number. The court clerk gave me a copy I keep in my glove box for my camper.

 

Just repeating what the state trooper told me. Only thing is I have to put reflective marking tape on the rear and both sides of the hitch.

Dif oil question:
Manual for my 2015 says front and rear difs use "LT 75W-85" and

$29 75W-90 Synthetic Gear Lube - 1 Quart (Pack of 2)

75W-90 for transfer case.

I haven't found a 75W-85 in store. Any reason I can't just go 75W-90 synthetic in all of it?

 

None at all. Get the 90. And buy good oil. It makes a huge difference

Thanks. I specifically waited until after LBL. Air filter, engine oil, difs, etc.

 

Same plan here, just not doing my rear diff since I just installed the locker last fall.

 

I actually would love to, but just got back in Knoxville and haven't seen my family in a while. So I'll do the family thing this weekend, and maybe make the next Makino outing if I'm in town.
