New to Tacomas as of Today and need a bit of help.

    Haha.
    Holy Cow! I do have a Cruise Control lever on my steering column, but NONE of this stuff under the hood! I don't see any cut wires though. Or where the ABS hard lines would have been secured on the fire wall.
    Thanks for all the help guys! I think there are a couple on CList at dealers nearby that I can go take a look at.

    I believe the placement did change through the years. But alot use same wiring harness. You may find alot of unused plugs on the truck.

    yes that cap is for the windshield washer fluid... also the small connector i circled is the same as the one that (on my truck) attaches to the cruise control motor assembly.

    also worth noting that ABS was not a standard feature on the tacoma... at least in '01 when mine was built.
    good luck with the new-to-you truck! tacoma's are awesome little trucks esp. the first gen's IMHO.
