    LOL I'm in another thread right now where people are trying to tell a kid how bad he messed up buying a new truck to the point where they are going to make him hit the panic and do something stupid button. Pay your bills, service your debts to the point where you can pay them off in a fair period of time with low interest, put enough away to live well later, and make sure your family lives a good life. If you can do all of those things you are winning at life.

    I owe on my house, my truck, and some debt I have from a divorce several years ago. Then again I'm not even 30 yet and I learned today I have about 3x more in my RRSP's and retirement investments then anyone I know. I think I'm doing alright.

    I'm Canadian. To be honest Bernie won't hurt you guys as much as you think. Our PC's (conservative party up here) actually would line up on the political scale somewhere around where Bernie is. Right now we are under a Liberal government and it actually looks like taxes are going down. We will probably pile up some debt but Canada is a resourced based economy so it's kind of a fact of life. Besides, we've been a good country for the last 20 years with our debt and we have the lowest levels per capita in the G8 IIRC. We can run a few years of spending to keep things going before things roll back in our favor.

    Anyways, like we talked about, I'd rather not get banned so maybe that's enough politics for the night :thumbsup:
