Well then maybe I'll just pass on the front locker then and just upgrade the rear to an arb

It really depends on where you intend to take your truck. No doubt, the ARB is an expensive "just in case."

It really is no doubt. Currently haven't taken it anywhere to bad a few spots could have been good with a locker. But do want to start getting into more difficult places

I would upgrade the rear first either way. The sports don't have a true locker. They can only use the yellow wire mod which enables traction control.

A winch will get you through where a front lockermight have been able to. But a winch is more valuable imo

A rear locker alone will be a huge improvement. Be prepared to break front axels if you lock the front too.

Like the 4runner! Great snake picture! Looks like Crotalus scutulatus, a highly venomous pit viper species found in the deserts of the southwestern United States. Wikipedia says It is perhaps best known for its potent neurotoxic and hemotoxic combination venom.

Was going to do rear locker and winch for sure but was mainly asking if the front was overkill or do most people actually use them. Don't want to need it and not have it.

I like that. What is the RAM mounted to? Did you have to buy another mount of some sort to attatch it to the truck? Thanks

It's a panavise mount. They make it specifically for the Tacoma.
