I thought you were an engineer. You're a CPA?

I am an engineer. It just so happens that I'm taking the Colorado state licensing exam to become a registered professional engineer on the 15th

Yes. Easy to do with a press to get the coupler back onto the shaft.

Think your Tacoma is EAF? Think again.

CTIS, 4 lockers, 6 wheel drive. And has been on every continent but Antarctica.

That's badass but I will trump that with this:

It was a SEMA this past year. Absolutely amazing!

Rotor bearings and rotor shaft seal need to be replaced if they look fine?

I wonder if there is a winch to lower that spare tire off that rack. It has to weigh a good 150lbs.

I would. They are cheap and save you from going in later if an issue. Plus it's a small amount of oil that goes into the nose cone.

Dunno, I haven't crawled around it enough. It might just be a tire up top with a tire and wheel mounted on the back.

The kiravan looks interesting but way to big to big for my tastes. But it's still a Unimog with a Doka cab. They even include the working gears and fast axles. Those are pricey upgrades. Hell that has to be 1.5 million at least.

I am replacing the nose cone bearings and the needle bearings for sure. I was referring to the bearings in the rotor plate. $80 for a glorified washer doesn't seem worth it to me.

Are those the ones at the back of the case? Or the ones right behind the nose cone? I didn't replace either when I rebuilt mine 80k ago. It might be time.

I can't find a good picture. They are mounted in that silver plate between the Nose cone and the black body, if that helps. It seems like they don't need to be replaced unless there is evidence of abuse. As far as I can tell everyone calls the bearings in the back the roller or needle bearings
