Not at this time. In short, the current every day price on 2nd gen IS the discounted price.

New 2nd gen options will be coming soon. I just finished an 05-11 Lower Pieces. Also, will add option for pre-applied letters and emblems soon for 12-15. If I can figure out a storage solution to stock them, pre-made full replacement 12-15's will be coming.

Also, in regards to new options. Look for a really special TRD themed install tomorrow or this weekend.

I get a lot of emails and calls about doing a flat black bezel. I think we've finally got a paint that'll match up good with our mesh and yet still have some good UV protection.

I built the first one the other day and we have a couple of the bezels already done and on hand now. The option will be available on our site soon.

Then I added some tailgate font lettering on top. I did a high gloss metallic black finish on the letters and it really pops. This exact grill is not sold yet. If interested, feel free to email, call, or pm me.

No, we painstakingly masked it off and wet painted it. I have an Inferno colored one in the works right now.

We have an idea on how to make them easier to color change, and will try a 3rd one soon. As-is for now, it's just a complete pain to mask off that and the end result isn't as clean as I'd like it.

I like that extra plate you made, it's a nice touch. I look forward to seeing the install completed.

When I was cutting the letters out I first covered the letters in vinyl to protect them. Im thinking the reverse would be an easy way to cover the black part and wet paint the letters. Thats what I'm going to do. Just cover the whole set with vinyl, cut along the grooves (carefully) and remove the vinyl covering the white parts. opposite of what I did to begin with. Easy and not so painstaking...
And thanks! Something different I guess..

Here's the special TRD install I mentioned yesterday. For now it's still up for grabs if you want go big with TRD in Silver Sky Metallic.

Also, shipping out today is a sweet Super White bezel and letter combo on Flat Black SS mesh:

We spoke on the phone a few moments ago. At this point, my advice was to go with the oem color match letters (in Toyota Black) and attach them to the mesh yourself.

In case anyone is curious. This is the replacement. Issues stated were that the edge of the letters are too sharp (which is fixable with the oem color match letters because they are hand sanded and painted). Other issue is that the 1st "O" is crooked. Scratches and bubbles I believe were acceptable.

Matt @customcargrills has been working with me on a retro style grill (invoice paid BTW) and I couldn't ask for anyone to be more patient and willing to work with me and help design the picture I had in my mind. Maybe my standards are low, but I don't see anything wrong with the grill above. Everything in this world is flawed if you look at it close enough. I'm not sure why this has to be played out on a forum like this anyway. Just my 2 cents.

Just gooped my oem retro Toyota emblem to the mesh grill... is it normal to worry a lot and quadruple... quintuple check to make sure I didn't install it backwards and upsidedown?

Very clean print. That'll come out real nice I think.

Lol, I hear ya. I'll sometimes do a double or triple check to make sure it's centered real well.

Just added this Inferno TACOMA lettering pic from an install this week. Front page now has a lot of combinations to view.
