I'm a believer in turbos. Have owned my 94 supra turbo for years. Nearly 300 wheel torque and that's when it was all stock and at low rpms! A turbo is great, but I would stay away from aftermarket. Especially Chinese crap.

yeah it seems that subbing a Garrett Turbo in that kit would be the way to go - and then keeping the rest.

I am in the process of installing the ozboost turbo kit. I bought it knowing it would be a big pile of ebay junk (somewhat true) and was just going to use it as a base platform. I have a few high horsepower cars and the truck got boring to drive.

The manifold, downpipe, and all of the oil/coolant/vacuum lines are great quality... to my surprise.

I build turbochargers for a living so I was planning on stuffing an authentic Garrett CHRA into the housings, but I didn't have to bother (yet). I tore the turbocharger apart, rebuilt it with OE Garrett components, balanced, and ported the wastegate port. It should get the job done as I don't plan on staying with the GT28 platform long depending on how this works.

The sketchy part about the kit is the fuel pressure regulator. It's a copy (of a copy of a copy of a copy...) of a SARD fuel pressure regulator and does not belong anywhere near a car. I think they are only $10 shipped on ebay.

Either way, here is a shot of the setup before I go to install it.

I plan on installing the kit as it came with the exception of the fuel pressure regulator as I am not about to sacrifice my life for my truck.

Overall it does seem like a well thought-out setup for 1,800 shipped.

I run that much in my diesel. Usually it's around 24-26psi. If i floor it in first i can hit 32psi.

Diesel motors tend to be much more stout, especially if the come with a factory turbo built in. Gas motors usually use a lot lighter rotating parts.

I am interested to see the URD kit on a 2016. If there was a TRD supercharger for a 2016 I probably would have bought it. I loved my supercharged Exige S and love my supercharged jag.

Listen to this dyno run of one of the OZ kits:

    https://youtu.be/tKZMiIzPUbY?t=52s

At roughly :58 to :59 listen to that lovely boost induced knock you can clearly hear. TICK TICKA TACK.

I guess it's more a testament to the 2TR-FE's durability than anything.

Not pooping on the idea of a turbo, but please, understand that turbocharging, especially on a modern car, requires a completely different fueling scheme that often times the stock computer just can't wrap it's head around.
