They are super rare and that one is very clean. I would absolutely love to own one

2 door 2nd Gen is the rarest of rare 4Runners. Almost like a 1st Gen but without the removable top

 

If I had money to throw around like that, I'd buy it for the cool factor alone.


But I don't.
It's definitely cool and rare though, makes me wonder if it'll actually sell. Priced pretty aggressively considering it's half of a second gen. I feel like the buyer has to be someone who's into toyota's and is a collector to some extent.

 

I prefer a manual 3rd gen with a supercharger.

 

That is a pretty decent price for a 2 Door 2nd Gen. Most people who have a 2 Door know they are rare and will sell them for a premium

 

I have a 3rd Gen, it would be really cool to have a 2 Door as a DD or weekend rig. Plus it is a little piece of Toyota history

I have had to talk myself out of getting another 4Runner. I just KNOW I would start modding the other 4Runner. A guy at work as a 3.Slow Auto on 35's, I don't know how he drives it.

I want a trar or something. Maybe convert a supra to 4wd... something like that next for me. I guess it could also be called a rally coupe

Today was my only day off this week. You should get a 4WD Tercel Station wagon, pretty sure they had a Low Range in them.

 

They do but I couldn't respect myself. I want something crazy. Haha

 

I thought about getting one for the funny/cool factor. Can't seem to find a "clean" one though.

 

Sucks you only have one day this week. I was thinking of running around bonanza/poncha with the snow we are forecasted to get.

There is no such thing as a clean one. Lol

 

Hence the " marks. All of the ones I have seen have been majorly beat up. I am hoping all this OT translates into a new front bumper for me. That would be a fun run. Did you guys get hit down there? We didn't get much in town but it looks the mountains got a good bit.
