Had skyjackers on the rear of mine for a while. Even tho im v6 ext cab they were super stiff, can only imagine how stiff yours rides.

It took me way longer to try to figure out how to get the old one out than it did to get the new one in

Had a mini mod day by myself

    Got some goodies!

    image.jpg

    Ripped out some stuff

    image.jpg

    So I can do this

    image.jpg

Bent it at AOP last weekend thanks to a log that got wedged between my frame and exhaust.

Also my hood wouldn't open so I fixed that too

    image.jpg

Just cleaned out the mechanism and it works fine now!

My hood release is funky. It doesn't pop it up when you pull the lever and sometimes it doesn't latch it shut.

Check your spring it may be too stiff. My was coated with mud I assume and that's why it wasn't releasing it. So I cleaned it up a little and it's worked so far

Haha I know, I'm just happy I can actually open the hood now ha

Why are you guys getting rid of the stock meep meep horn? I like the sound, it is a nice warning tone without being dickish, plenty loud too. Kinda funny imagining a micro truck like ours with a low horn.

Sorry Zane but I have to disagree on this one haha...reminded me of horns on a mini cooper or something. Sounded silly to me. To each there own though, the new horn really is not that low of tone, sounds more appropriate imo.

Hmm, maybe I'll swap mine with the Wolo Subi horns I have next time the front end is apart. I almost never use the horn, maybe it would sound good. The Subi horn was pretty loud and medium tone.

I'll give it a shot next time I decide to break grille clips, kinda hard to change them on 95-97 without pulling the grille off. @FirstGen Jer

Just do what I do...give up on the always breaking clips and switch to zip ties.....I use the bigger zip tie and secure it through the same hole the clip goes through....when I need to take it off I just cut it and put a new one

It's really sad, I was trying to break the clips so I could remove my grill without taking off my skid and bumper. But none of them broke. But the first time I took my grill off ever I broke 4 of them. Fucking things break when you don't want them to but don't break when you want them :annoyed:
