That is a very tempting offer but maybe when I move back to the states from Hawaii I'll start doing paint jobs but shipping isn't worth it out here. But! I do know that I saw a thread the other day of someone doing these paint jobs really well for $100 a pair and that's including all of the paint and materials needed. And they also use the expensive rubber buttyl So you should definitely search in the threads about people doing BHLMs. I'll try to find it again

hmm i cant find where i saw that post. But I remember it being a really good deal. maybe if you post for BHLM services someone can direct you to someone who does the service.

also if you ever decide to do it yourself here is a really good write up.

Hawaii is the only place that I've seen that has really given anyone problems that I've seen. But I have my safety past til next year and I leave island in a couple of months so I have already thought this through ^^

Wow. Very impressed. Looks like a top dollar aftermarket item. Which begs me to ask.....are blackout headlights available aftermarket? It would seem that with all the time you have in these and the demand for them, someone in China would be making them for 150 bucks.

Edit: I did a quick ebay search and found some black headlights for 2015's in the 200 dollar price range. Thats a tough nut to crack. I dont have the free time to do this mod, and 200+ bucks is more than I can spend. Oh man, 1st world problems!

Haha thanks! Yea I'm super super impressed with how it came out and is holding up. I've power washed it plenty of times and it's super humid here in Hawaii and there is no moisture seeping into the headlights with the method I used. Ya that's true that I was looking for ones on eBay too but I thought that I would save a couple hundred bucks doing it myself. I highly suggest doing it on your own once you have a free weekend. It only costed me about $25 dollars vs $200.
Originally I was going to buy aftermarket black ones and do the retrofit but that shit is like $1000! Who the fuck has the money for that shit. That's like a whole truck suspension. So instead I just did the BHLM myself and I'm about to get jumpers white LED headlights that put out just as much light as the HID kits. (In my opinion)

But here are some night pics that I took

Just make sure you reseal when you buy the headlights. A lot of aftermarket headlights get moisture in them.
