15" wheels on sr5 taco

    blue led headlights, 285/75/16 grabber AT2's, custom pedals, custom shifter, flowmaster 40 series muffler, bedlinered fender flares, 2.5" lift kit via shackles and spacers, custom exhaust out the back, chrome exhaust tip, and Herculined bed, Weathertech floormats, Cabelas Trail Gear Camo Seat Covers ... Nice thing was I got the truck for $4000
    I have a 2001 sr5 tacoma, will 15" rims fit, or will they rub on the caliper

    I was told that you cant fit anything lower then a 17" wheel on the Taco because the wheel will rub on the Caliper. I bought some procomp 8069 series wheels 16x8 with a 4" backspace and the dont rub at all. Im not sure about 15's but look into some 16's.

    Right now I got stock 16x8 wheels, but I found an add for some real good rims for a real good price, but there 15's mabye i'll just pass it up:(

    15" is the base wheel for Tacomas. I'd be more worried about tire width and offset.

    So the rims will clear the calipers?

    Engage Offroad long travel front and rear with some fat tires.
    that is for the 05+ tacos...

    1st gen can fit 15s

    with the exception of the soft8 style wheels, but that's because of the dimple dies on the face of the wheel...

    My stock wheels were 15x7 and the new steel black ones i got two years ago are 15x8 and i had to get spacers and some deep reaching lug nuts. So it definetly does depend on the type of rim. if you don't mind possibly needing spacers then buy'em
