When you guys do the Eagles Lake run, do you continue on the Fordyce trail to the river crossing or just camp out at Eagles Lake?

My skids should be here next week. Once my tires finally wear out I'm upgrading to 33's.

    Slick rock here I come!

Ran it for the first time last year. I think the off camber granite gulley (first main obstacle north to south) would be the campers biggest challenge. I was kinda nervous about it but it wasn't as bad as I thiught (even though I stalled like 4 times and ended up with a mystery gouge to be later cut off by hc bumper :p) I don't remember anything else being super tight...

You'll rock it with skids and 33s!

Cool. I should be able to complete it then. Made it past the granite gulley, I think. Is that the section in the far left of the pic?
    image.jpg
This section was sketchy too. Tires measure out a little more than 33" unweighted, so that is nice sized boulder. Stacked rocks to save my quarter panel on the way down.
    image.jpg
I made it a little ways past there before running into some TW folks, including Jason (jberry) & Eric (Relentless). They advised me to turn around since I ripped a side wall and was solo. Shouldn't be a problem with spotters- and the skids & HC bumper going on soon.

I did. They'll be here next Thursday.

I going out of town from Thursday to Sunday so I'll clean them up and paint them the week after. I gotta touch up my sliders while I'm at it so it should take me a while to finally get them on.

    All this talk of armor...

Really want a BAMF rear diff skid but I don't think @JLee is currently producing any. Maybe if we show enough interest he'll make a batch :D:stirthepot:

    You're open open? so sad.

I lucked out a few weeks ago and high centered on the sway bar. Coulda been a lot worse.

Next up is a motorcycle so I can park my truck and keep the miles low. Then maybe front bumper or winch. Or scuba trip in Thailand.
