That's the exact intake I have and mileage I get. I need to put the intake back on. I take it off during winter to avoid all of the salt getting thrown up into the filter box.

I had a k&N on my chevy for the longest time. I never saw any salt or brine residue on the cone. That doesn't mean it wasn't there. I just never noticed it during maintenance and oil changes and stuff.

That sucks. I do know that every now and then the MAF sensor will get clogged up (as with any intake system) and then it throws off the O2 sensors in the exhaust. Could that be part of the issue?

No I cleaned it off but it didn't help. His trucks jerks and feels like it's going to fall apart when you accelerate from 35-45 at low RPMs. It's really weird issue

You could revive this sticker, the guy that originally made it for me didn't do real well on the cutout tracing the ohio river...it's all angles.

when you clean the maf on a ford you need to clear pcm and disconnect battery to clear the pids. then drive with 2 long 3/4 throttle accelerations to reset baro/alt. most f150 has issues with plugs and coils especially at low rpm accelerations.
