Yeah.....the smaller the better...to me....I have a guy that I always go to and he builds sick custom stuff, and he is all about compact small footprint....and believe me I know I'm 40 and still love my stereo :D Besides technology only gets better and the days of paying for overpriced JL....etc are not for me, there so many companies out there that are just as good if not better

Thanks for the lead. I'm dealing with suspension and electrical now so maybe I'll plan a Black Friday splurge.

Another question though. It looks like these come out of Australia or something. Is there a stateside distributor?

Click the contact link on the home screen and there's an email address you can send them to see if anyone local to you stocks them, if not I'm sure they would work with you. The shop I go to uses them and I'm in Hawaii

I read the description after I posted, though the ones I've gotten in the past were neoprene.

I think this means that it failed due to re-setting the ECU (by disconnecting the battery, probably) too soon before going in for the smog check. The ECU needs a certain number of 'trips' or mileage (not certain how much) to 're-learn' . The smog-check machine can detect this. So you fail regardless of the sniffer test. Kinda like failing due to the visual inspection.

Well I had a CEL for the O2 sensor and I replaced it yesterday. Then I used my ultra gauge to turn it off. So I'm pretty sure that's what it is. I'll just go back on Thursday

theyre actually not too bad anything is better than the five yr old fat bobs garage shocks that were on there before that were shot to shit. the toytec coils in the front are actually made for the v6 but with all the weight I have the ride isnt too rough

I have a set of low mileage leaf springs off a dbl cab that I'm gonna install fabtech AAL's to, and then install on my taco this weekend but cant find a good diy. Iknow it sounds easy but I'm not even close to being a mechanic and kinda just figure shit out as i go along with the diy/how to threads. So if anyone knows of a link or where I can find some info I'd greatly appreciate it.

    Check out this link http://www.parksoffroad.com/tacomamods/01tacoma.html

No AAL in there, but there are some helpful rear suspension links.

I did an AAL awhile back and I'm far far far from a mechanic, so if I can do it, you most certainly can!

Not sure if just for '01-'04, but at some point, yes. The earlier Tacos had the meep meep. My '04 has a respectable horn. A far cry from the clown horn bs in my LeBaron.
