I didn't get to watch the game. Was on traffic so i got to listen to the radio. I'm going to blame BB on this one half heartedly. He started juggling lines early in the game. Somewhat due to injuries and someway due to that is what BB does. The only reason Anaheim hung in was they capitalized on a weaker, younger team.

I'm assuming Getzlaf was on the ice doing nothing on the OT goal. His only positive this season is the month of February. However, you'd expect more from a captain every night. He's given up a few games trying to do drop passes/no look passes that don't connect. I can remember games against Chicago and Arizona off the top of my head. Even Anaheim radio analyst called him out as a captain last night. His play as been shit. I enjoyed it when BB sat him out for a considerable amount of time after once again a pretty pass that resulted in a goal again Anaheim.

 

No doubt... must win for the Avs. Can't believe they dropped that one last night, they had it. These third period collapses are concerning

 

Peter Mahovlich.....really nice guy offered us a ride to a convention center. Didn't even know who he was until we got in the car and I asked his name. He's close friends with many of the old time players including Orr and Cheevers. Gave me some autographed pics that he had in his trunk . He's a scout for FL

Good to see Sharks tank (get it) as usual. Maybe OTT will pull upset too. Surprised Detroit lost at home to the no defense Pens ?!

 

I suppose it depends on which team shows up. The bip-Oilers could surprise - especially against the tougher opponents. Or they simply lay an egg. And with this being an Easter weekend.......probably the egg scenario. But who knows.
