And another note who has seriously been ticketed for tint, really? Unless your a drug dealer I have never heard of more than a warning. But maybe that's just were I live.

 

I have been once in nc, and the new owner of my old car did too. But in fairness both cars were pretty ricey....

 

I prefer simplicity..but I bought used so I didn't have much choice. 17k for a truck with 6600 miles was a good deal anyway

 

With my history I'd rather not give them an excuse to stop me if I can help it, plus the fact that I'm out late fairly often so I'm already a target

 

But then they can't pull you over just on your rebellious look

 

They can think of anything. I was detained about 30 minutes once bc the cop said my plate light was out. He told me that only upon handing me a warning and my paperwork. I asked which side and he barked he just told me, to which I said I just replaced one side and maybe it fell out. He marched me to the back and I thought I was getting my ass arrested. He then looked and said "oh wait they are working, never mind".

 

I know there are good and bad cops, but ones like that give them a bad name

 

I work with a lot of cops from about a half dozen depts. on road jobs. Amazing how many have tinted windows on their personal vehicles.

 

That's crazy!!!

 

Completed my first mod. Took the dealer decal off. Hahahah

 

I have friends and family who wear the uniform and yes, good and bad. I do my best to judge each on their own but will admit to being very cynical.

Lucky guy. I love lamb! We have turkey just like Christmas dinner. There's nothing wrong with it but Lamb sounds sooooo good!

 

Good morning--been up 4 hours already cuzzzzzzzzzz stuck working, gotta do the deed to meets the needs. Had a busy weekend so far blowing up at my sister for being crappy to my Dad and just generally being annoying, plus I drove all over picking up some Toy related goodies--got the ARB on board air (Denis's sloppy seconds I believe ) and 4 mint 98 T4R doors from cooul dude in a CT Toyota club that was out with us a couple years back in Glocester when we had the Taco and the T4R/FJ groups. Oh yea and I hate the Curt spare carrier, it makes the Taco feel like it has a 500 lb tail
