Finally got mine all installed. I broke the drivers side pushing in the wrong place while putting it back in ( be careful where you push). Then the post office broke the first replacement. All good now and really like the view.

Any possibility of adding an option for ordering these mirrors pre-installed in backing plates?

While I understand that it would increase the cost, I don't have the best track record working with glass....

Right now that is not an option.

Take your time and use a heat gun for all steps. Heat the backing plate when putting the new glass in and then heat the clips on the backing plate when you install in the housing. Everything will pop together nicely.

I've been reading through this thread. Interested, but nothing about price for reg non heated mirrors? Am I'm missing something?

Completely used to them now to the point I don't like driving my wifes car with flat mirrors.

The view of the rear tire in the mirror perched on a rock throws you for a loop the first time you see it. It only takes a second to realize just how nice it is to be able to spot the side of your rig with the mirrors.

I'm happy to hear that you're enjoying them.

I'm going to order soon. That "Objects May Be Closer Than They Appear Mirror" is another government regulatory curse.

Thanks for the order Scott. Yes, I ship a decal with the mirrors.

I'm fresh out of decals though, so I'll be cutting a new batch tonight. What color should I cut? Your options are matte black, matte white, TT blue, Royal blue, or gloss black.

    Good deal!

Be sure you don't press in the middle of the glass when you're putting them back on. Give the clips a little heat and press around the perimeter.

I look forward to seeing what you have to say about the drive home. It does take a few days to adjust to them, so keep that in mind.
