Sounds like a bright idea old owner... has he had the emissions done prior to sale? I think legally they are supposed to have it done and ready. Not many people do though.

Edit: but I wouldn't buy a used car that I was worried about passing until they got it tested and passed.

 

Nevermind, will not be moving forward with this deal. They changed the down pipe and took two of the 02 sensors out....no way in hell it will pass emissions. Dang I cant find unmolested RS anywhere!!

 

One of the posting for 3rd Gen, the dude wanted to change the headers.....3rd Gen doesn't have turbo or super charger...what benefits will someone gain with just a basic 3.5 engine? I don't get it.

 

Yeah, those are neat little cars, but when I was looking for one, it seemed that 99% were completely molested or pos' without even thinking about looking at them in person.

 

Has anyone dealt with heuberger Subaru in Colo Springs?

 

Rear is in. Front is torn down and in the washer. Hope to be done today.

@Squeaky Penguin, your front diff did not come with a drive stub out of the passenger side of the core differential, make sure you swap that piece over. I'll take a pic here soon.

 

If the motor is restricted in it's breathing then headers would help. But with that being a new engine have they even developed headers for it yet?

So it's time for me to replace my cabin air filter. The stealership quoted me $45 ha! O'Reilly's has a microguard brand filter for $13. What do you all use and where did you get them?
