    I drive it 2-3 times a week. From what animal control told us, it only takes them a few hours to build the nest.

    When it happened to my parents, animal control removed the nest. The next day, they had built another one on the opposite side.

    If it wasn't for the fact I heard them when we went to leave, I'm not sure when I would have found them. Yesterday I drove over 100 miles along with some minor off road trails through the local woods. They had one fun trip before getting evicted!

    I heard that fabric softener sheets deter rodents, try tying some sheets in the nesting area, might help, won't cost much to try...

    They had recommended in the short term to put an am/fm radio tuned in between stations in there, that the noise would keep them away. Nothing long term. Since the weather will slowly now start to get warmer, hopefully they'll just use the trees as their nest and not my truck.
    I put a mesh bag of moth balls in the area. If that doesn't work, I'll try that. Thanks!
