Been waiting since January!!!! Finally! As has been said... Worth the wait!

 

Toyota of Corvallis in Oregon. It's a drive but my truck is gonna be $2800 under sticker

 

Dealer's arrival estimate is probably close to the mark. I'm also in PA. I'm not sure of the build date of my truck because in late February I put dibs on a Tacoma already inbound to a dealer in Chambersburg. I think it was built in week 7 of the year (mid-Feb) and it arrived at the dealer on 3 March (week 9), which is about when the dealer predicted.

I'm playing the waiting game too. Thankfully my truck is only a week out. I put a deposit down yesterday on a 2016 TRD Off Road AC 4x4 in Quicksand. Can't wait!

 

How long did it take for everyone to find out build date after initial deposit?

 

Mine already had a build date. They had the truck in allocation and just needed to have it altered to fit the specs I wanted.

 

finally arrived at dealer .... pick up wednesday... prep and some accesories to be installed tuesday.... easter weekend is going to be long

Did you get a deal with longo? When I tried to find out pricing from them they said $500 off was all they would do

 

Otd meaning after tax and fees?

I know what it means. A lot of other people on here say their out the door price but it does not include the additional fees

 

Hmmm... You would think OTD includes everything! Grain of salt when people make claims about money.

 

I'm in Northern, VA and ordered my Taco (MGM OR DCSB 4x4 AT) March 4th. Still no build date. Dealer said Toyota is back-logged on Tacos and it will likely be delivered late May, early June. Dealer has been super responsive and cool to work with so far & best price after shopping 4 others.

 

For anyone out there waiting on a truck... hang in there, so worth it!! I waited about three and a half months to get mine. Here's my story: ordered December 8 from a local dealer. I ordered a 7568 - TRD OffRoad, 4x4, DoubleCab, Long Bed, Automatic. My first Tacoma, my first pickup. I was told I'd be driving the new truck in 6-8 weeks, tops. The ensuing several weeks were awful. I had countless calls, emails, etc not returned, and the ones that were returned were slow response, with conflicting and incorrect information. I never once felt like my order mattered to anyone there. After seven weeks I was told the truck would appear in the next week or two. I then learned nothing had happened. Toyota never received the order, I had no build date, no nothing. I posted as much on Tacoma World, and got the good tip to call Dean...
Dean Mahalati is a salesman at Toyota West, in Columbus Ohio. I'm in Southern California. I was at the two month point with exactly zero to show for it. Beyond frustrated, I called him out of the blue. He located a 7568 for me inside of one hour. Incredible. And that was that. February 17 build date, delivered to Ohio a couple weeks later, and I picked it up March 17. Dean was impeccably professional, courteous, helpful, and just all around fantastic. He treated me like I mattered. So i flew across the country to get my truck. It took me four entire days to drive it home. And I would do it all again, to get a Tacoma, and to get it from Dean. Actually buying the truck, receiving the keys, from Toyota West, was a real treat. They were so totally organized, and the service was extraordinary. I didn't want to leave!
The long wait is over for me. And I absolutely love this truck. Couple pics below...
