Sorry, but you bought the wrong truck if you want more power. It would have cost you a lot less to buy the v6 then it will to get more power out of your 2.7.

How much of a price difference is the v6? The 4 cyl is a great engine but I don't think too many people buy it for the HP...

If thats is the price difference then you were not looking at comparably equipped vehicles. Other than the engine that is. Plus even at that cost it will still be cheaper then adding power to you 2.7.

Supercharger is your only option. If you do the whole intake, exhaust, headers, route you are talking like 10hp. You wont even feel it. And youll be out about $1500+

Not be be a hard ass, but if you knew what you wanted and had a budget then there is nothing anyone here can do for you. You spent your budget on a less powerfull vehicle in your price range. Now you want more power. Literally the only real answer is taking it back and getting a v6 since you are a 2016. It will cost you less then buying a bunch of stuff to tey and add power.

Or you can just enjoy the truck the way it is.

better option would have been to buy a used 4.0 rather than a new 2.7

I'm not understanding how the V6 would have been $175 more a month. How long is that loan?

If you wanted a manual, I would have understood as the V6 is only available with a manual in the TRD trim. But you can get a V6 auto in the SR5 trim.

Regear will give you more power, but in the long run it would have been cheaper to buy the v6

What about the deck plate mod? I thought the 4-cyl got more power out of that than the V6?

The 2.7 is not offered for power or fuel economy. It's there as a price leader...period. Hoping for more power or 30 MPG is not going to happen.
