No you'll be fine. People commonly will put 3 or 4 cross bars total to distribute the weight better, or a full rack. But even with 2 I haven't heard of any issues

Awesome. I didn't even know there was an option of having a "reinforced" canopy when ordering one

No worries here. ARE Z series takes the rtt like a champ with the frontrunner rack. ARE told me 200# max in transit and 600#+ stationary; although not "officially" tested.

I dont know of one in SoCal. Check the RTT dealers websites, they may have a dealer in your area that does. On CVT's website it shows that,
Rockbox trailers in Salinas, CA rents them.

I live in Oceanside and we are planning a trip to Yosemite, not in the budget to buy a rtt so I was looking to see if any places rented them. Thanks!

You might call Tepui. If you're on the way, there might be options for you that they can help you with.

Haha mine sits parked most of the time I bet we could work some agreement out. If you're a 2nd gen, my makeshift bed rack will slide right onto your bed and lock into the rails.
I could use the extra cash to spring for a better bed rack too.
Send me a message with your number
