Creating this tread to track progress and future plans for the BBY.

Picked her up in early December 2015 from Freeman Toyota in Santa Rosa. Couldn't have asked for a better deal. First new car I've owned!


Added weathertech mud flaps, chrome exhaust tip, door sills, weathertech floor mats front & back with TRD OR stickers.

Replaced TRD OR decals with flat black decals. (Thanks to @captain.cardinal1 and @CBoy808 )



Suntek paint protection film package (front bumper, edges of hood/fenders, door edges, handle cups, gas drip protection)


Custom Suntek paint protection around bed


Added tint to front side windows to match the rear


Made pad with carpet and Velcro to protect plastic on back of the rear seats. Dog is happy!

Nice, where did you get your carpet

 

Picked it all up from Home Depot. It is regular carpeting. The lady that helped me thought it was strange at first that I wanted such a small amount cut from the roll.

 

haha, yeah someone else did this yesterday. All you do is attach with velcro right?

 

Carpet was a great idea, sooooo I'm probably going to copy you. Also, where did you get the flat black decal? How is it holding up?

 

Yes, but you may end up needing superglue to glue the Velcro to the bottom of the carpet mat. Also make sure to use some rubbing alcohol to clean the plastic area on the back of the seat before putting the Velcro sticker on.

 

Carpet is holding up great. I installed it first thing after I brought the truck home in December and it has been through a lot. Decals are holding up great too. @CBoy808 has done a great job with decals for many of the members on the forum.
