What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

When I put 93 in mine it felt like it ran way worse. Rough idle and unsmooth shifts. There is no performance gains if it's not tuned for it. I used to drive q car b4 my truck and ran 93 in it. In that reference it was better because I had a tune...

 

Engine running? In gear?
Wasn't sure if you are supposed to simply check it like the differential.

The new KTM is a great purchase!

 

Greased all my zerks with Mobile1. They were bone dry and required 5-6 Pumps. A small amount of red OEM grease was all that purged out.

 

I bought the dirt bike first, then needed a truck.

 

Like differential. Engine off. Not in gear.

 

Think I am going to start a new business just bringing all new Tacoma owners drive trains up to specs on fluid capacitys and grease. Just FYI the AT fluid check with the jumper wire is easier than I thought. Process worked exactly as it was supposed to.

Look at it like this. Why is Toyota trying to sell you a extended warranty?? Do they not have faith in their car?? Also your only paying for 4 years not 7 because extended warranty is including the factory warranty. You can find aftermarket warranties for a hell alot cheaper and they cover more items then Toyota would.

 

They sell the extended warranty because profit margin is around 90% on them.

 

Nope. It's very tacky. Even when wet.
