Package dependant. XM has different packages that have add on stations for more money. Not quite sure on this because it's been a while, but I think the 3 month trial package is pretty basic. I may be wrong though. Whatever is listed on the screen is all you can access. From your satellite screen on the radio, hit the list all stations button, that will be all you can access.

I emailed Toyota a few months ago in regards to a "passenger mode" so "other" people can work the functions such as map, YELP, and restaurant/movie tickets while on the go.

    they said no. =(

That's because it has NOTHING to do with safety and everything to do with their liability. They couldn't care less if you kill yourself or someone else on the road. They only care if they can be sued for it.

I agree how annoying it is. I finally just took the time to fill up all the presets with stations I would potentially listen too. I would like to know too though.

Wish I could help, cause I agree with you. Voice command still works, but I've always had issues with that in my Gen2 and now my Gen3. Built into the software, so don't think we'll see a fix for it.

    Agree with this.

Please don't pull out your phone and take your eyes off road! Pull over and be safe for both yourself and the families travelling along side you. A minute on the side of the road does not make a difference in the grand scheme of things.

I'll share a story, and although I don't think this person has a Tacoma or is part of TW, apologies if he is and this brings up old hurts.
My old neighbour, who was an officer in our police force now retired, had a daughter who was driving home after purchasing some groceries for her parent's anniversary. See, her plan was to prepare a nice dinner for her parents. She took her eyes off the road for a moment, and accidentally slammed into a stopped car at a red light at an intersection. She was killed in the collision. My neighbour, her father, was the first officer to respond to the accident and found his daughter dead.

Please, think first before that phone makes a sound and you must pick it up to see who's texting or planning your next route. Don't do it.

I don't know if this has been written up yet, but

When ACCELERATING up a hill, the truck will lock itself into fourth or fifth gear, depending on the load and throttle position. It will not up shift, even if you let your foot all the way off the gas pedal. To make it up shift, pop the shifter left into the S portion and then back into Drive. This will clear the shift lock and it will usually shift back into 5th or 6th, depending on load. The truck will up shift on its own upon leveling out on top of the hill but it will not up shift if its nose up

Amen bro. You don't need to be dinking with the crappy entune or using your phone whilst driving. its bullshit. Everyone thinks oh I can just glance or reply to a quick text or input a address real fast. Not worth dying for bros. Be safe out there.

anyone one know of a way to see the odometer all of the time in the
bottom right of the center display? I only seeing when shutting off the truck
it pops up at the bottom under all the stats and then that's it.

You can edit the settings and change around all of the displays.

any idea where ? I've looked a few times and just don't see it. It was
there prior to the 5k checkup/oil change but I haven't seen it since, except like I
said when I turn off the truck and it shows several lines of stats for that drive.

Check in the settings accessed via the steering wheel buttons. I'm not anywhere near my truck right now, but customizing that screen was one of the first things I did.

I actually did this just yesterday. The trip reset button will cycle through Odometer, Trip A, Trip B, and blank. Just hit the button until the odometer shows up and you're good to go.

Thx I'll have to check again later, I must have missed the trip a/b options, when
I flipped through the screens I didn't see it.

Edit: shit, am I looking in the wrong place(steering wheel) is there
a separate button as there was with the last model?

This may have been discussed already.

    My question.

Is it possible for the radio to stay on after you turn off your engine but turn off when you open the drivers door?

    Thanks
