Hi all, I've been trying to diagnose this situation all day, and I can't seem to find an answer.

Vehicle: 2005 double cab pre runner

Story: This morning, I had no electrical issues when I drove my truck to grab breakfast. I came home and my truck sat for 4 hours before I drove it to the hardware store.

I noticed that none of windows were working and the child safety button was off. I returned home and also found that the blower and fog lights were not working, and my e-brake light stays on. I checked the fuses for each component and they are all fine. Is there a larger relay/resistor/hardware/switch that controls these components? I'm having a hard time thinking that all of these electrical mechanisms coincidentally went out at the same time. I was told by a mechanic that my battery would need to be changed soon, and have no idea if that has anything to do with the failure of the systems.

Any help in the right direction would greatly be appreciated. I use my truck for work 6 days week and I'm still diagnosing this issue as I speak.

    Thanks.

Check the IG1 No.2 Fuse to the left of the steering wheel behind the cubby pocket.

Bingo! That was my first thought when reading the symptoms.

OP did you try to do any ABS disable mod?

I have not. I haven't done anything extensive as far as modifications, so I was surprised when I experienced this issue. I'm hoping that it doesn't come back. I'm not sure where my investigation would begin if it did.
