The reason why it's not like that on yours is because they probably used stock ucas and you have TC ucas witch moved your top mounting point closer to cab and farther from the swaybar. I'm telling you try putting back stock ucas and see how everything works together.
On the side note truck looks great, smaller tires are not that "smaller" to notice, I wouldn't if you didn't mention, and I think they fit well. Oversized tires make taco look like monster truck. Not to mention how bad they would be for your gears and gas mileage.

I think you are probably right about the TC ucas! I question Tuff country on that, they didn't think that would be the problem but I'm thinking you are right because there isn't many other variables that should have thrown those off, the coilovers really shouldn't have done it at all. So what else is left except the coilovers . I think I'm just going to stick with the smaller tires I agree they will save me some gas mileage and get my Speedo a little bit closer, overall I think it still looks great and it rides really nice!

got pics of the truck with the fox lift? did you need to adjust them out of the box? i ordered a stage 2 Fox lift as well but went extended travel with TC UCAs. still curious to see what kind of lift (inch wise) the fox setup provided.

The pic is showing you to flip the swaybar upside down , common with 6'' lift's.

Pro comp 5001 series, 8x17 0 offset which is 4.5 bs. What the lift calls for. Yes sway bar is flipped. Sway bar has to be up above the tie rod, won't work any other way.

Mine looked very similar. I don't see how anybody can stuff a 12.50 Tire in those wheel wells! Not without a backspacing of more than 3.5! And then I don't know how you don't hit the fenders! I've got a full 6 inches of lift maybe a little more in the front and those 315 70 17's with the wheel spacers would tear my fenders off, without them there's no room inside without taking the sway bar off completely that I can figure out. And I don't think I went into this willy-nilly, I did lots of reading and studying beforehand,20160218_150048.jpg and have had nothing but issues!

    For the odemeter:
As an example I checked the math of multiplying your distance by the net differmce of tire diameter. This seemed to be a popular solution form my thread research.
I first checked the difference in tire diameter from my stock 265 / 65 / 17 Firestones to my BFG 265 / 70 / 17 KO2s . The BFGs were about 1.1 inch greater in diameter. So the way i checked it was to draw it out. My brain seems to like pixtures better! I drew it up in CAD to see how much farther the BFG goes on say 1000 revolutions compared to the stocks.
Basically the math is correct. If your tire size is 5% larger than OEM size then multiply your distance by 1.05 and that's the true distance traveled.
Speedometer is similar. Your actually going a few miles faster than what speedo says (if tire is taller than OEM. In my case it was about 3-4 km/h diff.) I always rounded up to 5 :p

Hey how's it going you all, I just joined here and had a few questions. I'm considering a Tacoma as a work truck. I own a roofing company and now drive a 2010 f-150 which has been great. The only thing I don't like is that the gas mileage stinks and honestly it's a little more truck than I need as it's mainly used for running estimates. I do light repairs too so I'd need a long bed and I also have a family so the double cab. One problem I have though is with the looks of this setup. Stock it looks goofy to me as it's lanky looking so to speak, but with a lift, it sweet looking and makes all the difference. Now, I will need a ladder rack to carry a ladder basically most of the time so my question..is there a way to lift the truck and not have it sag in the rear with the extra weight? There's nothing worse than seeing a lifted truck with a reverse rake! Also, are all the kinks worked out of the lift kits to make the 2016 pretty worry free? I realize I'll loose gas mileage a bit, but a nice lift is the only way I'd want to own a dc/lb. thanks for any answers

Welcome to TW! As for your rear weight consern you can add leaf to your existing leaf pack, that should hold extra weight you get ion there, or you can install air bags if you plan on carrying over 400lb

I also read about some concerns about the upper control arm bolt that has to be cut on the passenger side while replacing upper control arms. So the fix was to cut the bolt and install a new one opposite of how it was installed originally. The problem was the fear of the nut getting loose and having the entire bolt slide down since installing it the other way around now has the bolt in a downward slope.

So what I did was drill a hole at the end of the bolt and put in a cotter pin. While it does not prevent the nut from backing out, it will however keep the nut from unthreading completely. I'm sure I'll fell or hear some vibration if anything, and I can just simply retorque the bolt. Just thought I'd share. With the proper torque and a dab of lock tite (like others have suggested) and the cotter pin in place, I feel a lot better knowing my suspesion won't fall apart while driving.

This is only the case with an AT since the sensor is at the wheel. An MT sees an understatement of speed and mileage.

Man this sucks. I traded in my 09 Tacoma for a Silverado cause im a big tall lanky bastard and need the extra room, but the Silverado forums are so lame. Very limited on the lift threads. All you really get is:

"Welp, me and Margorie finally decided that we needed to put dvd players in the back of the head rests for the grand kiddies for when we go on road trips. I'll post pics as soon as I find out how"

That's because the majority of the lifts for chevy/GMC are worthless DB lifts to make brodozers.
