@tacomgee and I put in a bolt on ATO shackle flip and it was super easy and also adjustable. Could always weld it in later, but I liked the idea that we could move it around to dial in.

If Jerry cant send them to you go with the ruffstuff ones. The BAMF ones are good cause they are already a perfect around the axle but the ruffstuff look identicle.

I personally dont think bolting in is a good long term option for the shackles but if you are trying to "dial in" the rear i suppose you can bolt them at 1st. If you look in my build while i was doing my SOS flip @Evenflow posted a good diagram of what to look for when setting up a shackle.
I personally feel that this piece needs to be welded on but look to box the frame in before you weld it.
@jeffz0rz makes a great set of plates at a killer price. I know 2 people that have them and hes a great guy.

Cant you just set them up for bolt and he just welds them? This is what i did with my SOS kit.

I will leave you with this image to look fwd to Andrew

Better to ask what I have not done.
i can and i agree welding them on is going to be the better way to go but i dont know if he has access to a welder so i wanted to give him all the options i could. the flips on my truck are welded on.

I'll look it up in your thread thanks. Would the frame plating still work even though I have the bamf kit welded on?

Rear shocks bottoming out when flexing/stuffing. Redoing/improving the rear of the truck all at once.

He has a few guys willing to help him out if he will drive.

Yes, the BAMF kit is welded to the top and outside of the frame

Andrew spends more money, still no wheeling.

Here is another shot for you Andrew

    IMG_20160228_115427.jpg

Zoom in on the backside of the tower and follow the frame plating to get a good visual.
