Not gonna say anything else.. but it's not going to look good with a 4 door, and why get the pre-runner if you're going to drop it?

EDIT: With that said... no I haven't, and I haven't seen anyone with it before.

Needed 4 door and non pre runners only got two.Saw pictures on Tundra Racing and it looks good to me.Had an 08 4runner That got totalled and also needed a truck so 4dr prerunner was the best answer for me.With the drop entry will be easier.

Oh ok, well I haven't seen pictures so I can't say but just from what I imagine it wouldn't.. but it can't be too hard to install it might even be easier than lifting the truck, or the same...

Thought about it to, for the same reasons you have, but have not done it. Don't spend alot of time worrying about the responses from the nay-sayers. Like you've said, you can't get a DC without the Prerunner lifted look.

Lowered 4 door trucks can look good. The issue that I see is that the kit you've mentioned does not go very low, so it truely might not look good "in-person". That being said, I don't think that I would do it myself without seeing it in-person.

If only you could buy a Tacoma with V6 Auto in a non-Prerunner chassis... I really like my 96 Xtracab V6, but you cant find one that not thrashed. Mine's got a motor on the way out, piston knock, and I'd like to get a newer model, but V6, Automatic only seems to come in PreRunner. I commute 40 miles with this truck, I have no need for an off-road suspension. Too bad they never made an Auto S-Runner, that would be my ideal truck.

id like to see a slammed 4 door long bed taco but its gonna be some time before someone cuts one of these apart (i know there is that pic of one but...) thats why everyone does 4 door colorados.
truck looks good but lower could always be better

I like it.Ride not as bouncy when bed empty.Need to order short bump stop for front (from tundra racing) because stock one got about a 1/4 inch till it hits .Ride was harsh because was always hitting bump stop. After short bump stop installed was all good.Rear will ride on bump stop about 3- 400 pounds.Handles a little firmer and mpg didnt change.Looking to put some black rims in future.

Does the exhaust have to be modified? From the looks on the pics it looks like it might get in the way with the rear leaf shackle?

I know i am getting older, but that is truly a waste of a perfectly great truck. It is also hideous. Sorry just my opinion.

I'm only 21 and I agree with you. To each their own but doesn't lowering it with a skimpier suspension mean you cannot put as much stuff in the bed without just sitting on bumpstops? Then back to the point of why even have a truck instead of a four door sedan? I guess aesthetics?

Lowered truck with running boards

x2 on the tires, looks goofy with full size tires, maybe go down a size.
