We're adopting a new puppy soon. I wonder if we should bring her camping with us? She's only 6 weeks old as of today.

Start Wednesday, and got 3 months to get it done.

 

I'd wait for a few more weeks before taking the pup, let it get acclimated to your place and teach you how to behave. They'll need constant attention, and take away a lot of any fun you may have because you're focusing on it the whole time.

 

This. Also, puppies need to build their immune systems and finish the puppy shots up before a lot of exposure to the nasty stuff they can find in the woods. Best of luck with the new pup.

 

Thanks guys. Fortunately, we've had our dog since he was a pup (he's 7 now). So we have some puppy experience and we'll know what to expect.
