Hoping to get them installed this week. The combination of weather, school, and family has killed my time to get rig related work done.

Brian, I'll shoot you a pm regarding the break in process shortly.

Jake, can I swing by this afternoon to grab those stands??

1st 3 trips, no more then 30minutes drive time. I would try and stay slower then 55mph. Keep acceleration loading low. Use 4wd on the straights for front diff break in. Allow the diffs to cool for about an hour or more between trips. After the 1st 3 trips drive normal keeping the load low. After 500 miles change the diff fluid, expect that fluid to be shiny and look to have metal in it, normal with break in. Do not tow for 1k miles. Try not to 4wheel for 1k miles. Use the front diff as much as possible on straights. I use standard 80-90wt for break in

Thank you, Brian. I'm really hoping to start the process this week. Are you just switching between 4wd and 2wd on straights, or driving 4wd everywhere?

    Fixed it!

Also, I completely forgot about the impact. I can use the old one, too, no biggie. The addition of either will be greatly appreciated!

Long sweeping turns I leave it in. Run 2wd for 90° stop light turns or other sharp turns.

so i take it braking the tires loose and drifting around the corners in 4wd is not recommended for brake in? :pout:

Should have mentioned that the mounting holes are all off on that template. On the two that I've installed, I cut the large hole through the paper, and then put one stud in the snorkel, and hold it where you want it. Then you can mark that, and adjust the template accordingly. Back holes were off by 1/2" or more. IIRC, the snorkel rotates clockwise a bit on the template.

    Anyways, looks good!
