Yep. Still have them and they are still mounted on wheels so it would allow you to run 2 separate sets if you wanted. 1 for mt and one for at, or summer and winter. However you want to look at it. That's what I do. Seems AT's are much more friendly in the snow from what I have experienced.

hey guys, plan on installing my suspension this weekend with the help of a friend. i'll be using the no spring compressor method, and i've read/watched all the vids that are pretty much out there. is there anything that i should be aware of that is generally not mentioned when doing the installs?

are you doing UCAs? Id recommend cutting the stock bolt, and replacing it. Then you dont have to bend any metal

I got my @RelentlessFab set of 3 bedrack bars w/ the added 4 inches (tall version & black powdercoating) with additional Hi-Lift mounts, quick fist clamps (set of 4) and mounts, as well as the rear light mounts on rear side. Love these they are super functional and look great.

If you're taking the strut all the way out, aim it away from you. Or you can leave it on the truck and let the truck weight be the compressor. Id really recommend renting a strut compressor from a parts store, though. Near me they are about $75, and you get that back when you return it

ya i've heard bad things about renting the compressors. the video i watched shows the lca being dropped and the weight being held by a floor jack...essentially easing off the jack uncompressed the spring.

Anybody in the NoVA area familiar with doing a Cab Mount Chop (CMC) I have the plates that need to be welded on but havent gotten anyone that will give me a solid price on the cutting and welding yet. Most places out here want to charge $200+ for a $80 job that is super quick and simple I just dont know how to weld nor have the equipment. Anyone wanna step up and hook me up?

80 dollar job? How many have you done? It may not take super long but it's experience an having the tools that makes it 200. I feel that is a very reasonable price.

I completely agree with your statement. Gas and wire isn't free. Plus even a low shop labor rate is $85 an hour and it's more than a 1 hour job to do it properly.
