Thanks, Jim. Yeah, it's been funny coming from a 1st gen to a 2nd gen and having to learn a whole new set of tricks. Fortunately for me, they've all been figured out by others already.

I strive to make everything look (and perform) like or better than OEM. The horn relocate is so cool because you just have to re-route stuff to existing holes. The exact length of the wiring harness is just good fortune. I also wanted the black to look like it is factory, so took my time prepping. Good paint is always about prep, right?

It is also worth nothing that the OEM 12-15 grill has lots of thick, wide black plastic at either side that hides a bunch of stuff behind it. Put a mesh grill on, and now all that shiny stuff is way more exposed. It really is worth it to do it this way.

Looks good. That's why I asked I'm about to do a 3 inch lift and I need tires and was wondering how it was going to look with stock size.

Just a thought...I now have the original inner tailgate skin and top cap from my 06. Should I just recycle them, or is there much of a market for something like that? They are both o.k. but obviously have had some use...

Picked up a 2014 in October of 2013. Working my way down to a number that I can just say fuck it and send it all in!

While a shorter duration is definitely a bonus, the main reason I'm doing this is for interest savings. Halving my interest fees will free up more money for future payments. I'd rather have it going to my truck than the banks. And if funds ever get tight I can always back off a month or 2. This is the so called plan anyway lol

I believe I saw another member on here do this, but I got bored today and decided to plasti-dip the excess painted panel underneath the truck where the rivets are. Looks cleaner IMO.

Installed some fog lights I got off of a member here. Any suggestions for the light bar? I'm leaning towards some OZ-USA LED pods.
