looks like I'm not the first one here with an FZ-07. Finished plasti-dipping mine white, went out for 3+ hours today and it was awesome to finally have the bike out of storage again.

Most bikes (even the ones with large tanks) don't even have the 'sloshing' issue anymore because pretty much everything has a baffled tank now.

If it's a stock tank sure. Not all aftermarket tanks have built slosh baffles.

One of my friends has a 12 gallon tank on his klr. That thing is absolutely ridiculous. I'm going to be riding with him quite a bit so you can imagine we won't be riding all out!

My friend bought the 10 gal tank for her 2nd gen KLR after the front end and stock tank were borked up in an accident. Funny thing is her car has a 10 gallon tank too.

True, the cheap ones are basically just a jug.

Can't, it covers the seam between the side pieces of plastic. I was more concerned about removing that awful rear fender and the scooter exhaust.

yeah i still have to put my signals and fender eliminator on. that fell to the bottom of my priority list.

i wish i could replace it with something else that looks less pad-like

Going to look at a 97 cr125 2 stoke tomorrow. Planning to race it in hare scrambles if I get it.

2007 KTM 990, had since new. 32k on it now, been to Montana twice and Maine once from here, all on back roads. Does ok on Jeep roads and passes, a bit too much for me on anything harder than that. I'm old and slow, unless I'm on this. Then I'm just old.
