Here you can see the wider stance but it also has to do with wheel back spacing. I'm on method standards 17x8.5 (zero offset). That puts me at 4.25" backspacing.

Badass!! Yea bro I'm running the same set up as you. Getting set up on Wednesday this week.. You're truck is very fly.

 

Thank you vey much man! I only had to trim the lower section of the fender flare. No CMC or pinch weld. I'm sure I'll rub under full compression, but I had the same issues with my 285s. Not an issue during daily driving.

You got lucky not having to cmc I just switched wheels to level 8 mk6 4.11bs I had slight cab mount rub I cut some off of it still need to beat the pinch weld flat I beat it over a bit buy I need a bigger hammer to finish the job I normal hammer wasn't cutting it

 

What are the dims on those wheels? I'm swearing by 17x8.5 w/ zero offset for all tire combos that are up for typical discussion. @GHOST SHIP is the 2nd guy on here that's been good with that wheel selection. Can't be an accident.

I did a lot of math and research when I initially bought my wheels. Most of the sizes I saw were 17x9. That extra 1/2 inch would have cost me some time with the BFH and more than likely CMC. 17x8.5 limits your wheel selection though and some people have their style preference. I must have gone through 100 catalogs and 2 dozen brands before I decided on the Methods. They were less common when I got them, but I see them everywhere now.

 

I definitely concur with your exact research as I did the same with hope that I was right. Shockingly I was and you backed up my convos and research with the result. Still I wonder why you don't see more people run those dims

 

I'm not sure man that should clear no problem. A buddy of mine is running level on his DCLB and granted he doesn't do any wheeling but he just had to trim the fender a smidgen... Either way I checked out your build still I like the way it looks. Toyota should have made the adjustments to the cab mount and pinch weld years ago

 

You should be cruising at lower speed as it is with a larger diameter tire

 

Just spotted Maxx's on an electricians van.

 

Heres mine now that they're on.

 

i love them, seem smoother and they're definitely quieter than my Toyo's. I rub minor at the cab mount where i hammered my pinch welds. Little work and itll be fine.
