Ok, now I guarantee you're going to end up spotting Captain Ameritruck some time. I'm shopping at that HEB several times a week, and I get my hair cut at the Cost Cutters.

I am now on the lookout for a super white 2014 DCSB...like the other 5 seen in that area daily...

The one off 1431 and old 183? They don't have anything, I've tried.

I'll keep an eye out for you, I'm in the area all the time. I live right around the corner.
And yeah I just checked the slaughter manchaca location and they didn't have anything either. Starting to look like Prime is the way to go. Gives me just enough time for a Sunday install.

I believe quad cabs are only '04 to '06, prior you can get a '00 to '06 access cab. Maybe i'm getting my terminology wrong.

And haven't seen you on TW before, awesome! Think I talked to you a lil' bit ago about coming to the April Fools run. Stoked about it, can't wait.

Preemptive hello  post to Elliot - met him, his wife, their baby's Recaro car seat, and his MGM TRD OR MT. Gave him a card only to find out he's already on here (but new to Austin).

Told him I knew some folks who know what's what.

Fellow Austinites, I was wondering if I could get some advice from y'all. I'm in the process of procuring my lift, wheels, and tires. Anyone know of a great place I can have a shop install it for me? I've been looking around here in Austin and all I can really find is the 4wheelparts in north Austin. I really don't want to spend that much for an install any help/suggestions would be awesome!

I'm in Cedar Park (my name, heh) and if @Texoma lets me borrow his garage i'll do it for a crisp $20 and a couple brews. I'll be in town next weekend.

Unless you get an AAL, if you get an AAL it'll be more than a couple brews.. heh

If you want it done by a pro, its gonna be pricey... like very. My neighbor got his done at a Firestone I think, was his cheapest option.

I would love to learn how to do it myself, limited though due to lack of tools and a garage of course. I would like to take you up on your offer @CedarPark but I'll be out of town next weekend and my lift probably won't be purchased until Monday from @HeadStrong Off-Road. Depending on shipping and all I probably wouldnt get it until the week of April 4th anyways. Also I'm leaning towards a full Dakar leaf pack in lieu of an AAL. Let me know if your in town later in the month and maybe we can make the beer session happen... I mean suspension session lol!

Thats why I need Tex's garage haha. I go to school at Texas Tech, all my tools are up here. The times I can visit are limited, if you're willing to wait 'till the summer I can do it in a couple hours easy.. besides that not sure when i'll be home. There's other good people here who could do the same work if they're willing though for sure. Don't pay someone to do something there's 10 minute youtube videos for

So, as it turns out, Fry's carries a pretty solid stock of Pelican, Seahorse, and B&W International cases. They advertise that they'll price match internet retailers, too, which is new to me. Last time I went there, they wouldn't even match their own online price.

    Yes.
half the guys from Heart of Texas Off Road would be happy to help. Many of us are in Austin or Round Rock.

Can you make it to lunch at Baby A's (183 and Capital of Texas on the NW Side) on Friday noon any week?

A bunch a cool stickers, a bada ass MetalMiller Tx Longhorns grill emblem painted Hemi Orange, JBA long tube headers with o2 sims, Diff breather mod, Red LED interior lights, Fancy head unit that plays ipod n movies, Also DIY install factory stuff like, factory cruise control, factory intermittent wipers, OME nitro struts with 886x springs and toy tec top plate, JBA high caster UCA's for better alignmnet and dey beefier too, Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs in da rear with the gear, U bolt flipper, Ivan Stewart TRD rims with 33" K Bro 2's, some bad ass weather tech floor liners so I don't muck up my interior, an ATO shackle flipper for mo travel in da rear wit the gear, also super shiny Fox 2.0 shocks back there too, all sorts of steal armor for bouncing off of the rocks like demello sliders, AP front skid, trans skid, n transfer skid, demello gas tank skid, and a tough as nails ARB bumper with warn 8k winch, I'm sure there's more
I could do it for much less than what 4wp charges, but I cant beat CP's price. My rate is $100 for front lift install and $100 for rear lift install. Price includes detailed explanations of what's happening, glorious lubrication of your alignment cams so that they don't ever seize, and everything gets torqued to spec. PM me if you're interested. Not available this weekend or next, then the following Sunday I'm booked with an install.

Is anyone in our area a CB guru? Just got mine installed and am in dire need of some tuning/optimizing.
