    I have LED interior lights in my volvo wagon, and love them, was going to cobble up a kit for my access cab from superbrightleds.com but if you've already put together the right stuff, I'm game, save me the trouble. I prefer warm white to cold/cool white if there's a choice.

    fyi, its kind of hard to measure the resistance of LEDs as they aren't simple resistive loads. the high efficiency high brightness sorts have DC to DC switching supplies that drop the car's 12-14VDC down to the ~3 volts the actual LEDs want to see, and current limit via pulse width modulation to maintain a steady brightness. too much active circuitry, a ohm meter won't read it very well.

    even a simple LED is a diode that is nonlinear, it has a minimum forward voltage, often around .6 to 3V depending on the LED type, below this voltage, no current passes, above it they are nearly a short. your typical digital ohm meter doesn't put out enough voltage, and only works correctly with a simple resistive load.
