    yes that's the one! I would rather have just bought a leather punch and done it cleaner and easier. but it's done. Just need to mount the rack.

    Thanks again @zscott!! Got my rack installed this weekend. Loving it so far. Definitely thinking about sound deadening the roof to help with some of the noise. Not terrible but if I can eliminate most of it, might as well do it.

    I don't get coatings on products delivered by UPS anymore. Every time I do, they chip the coating somehow. Especially on powdercoat, you have to be pretty rough to screw up that coating.

    So when does the whistling happen? Just on the highway? I think I'm going to sound deaden the roof as well, to help cut the noise and keep it better insulated. I wonder if it'll still whistle with a light bar in place. Is yours the 32" cutout? TIA

    Luckily I don't have the whistling problem. Just a generic "wind noise from a roof rack" noise that is inevitable. Its really not that big a deal since I can just turn up the radio but I'm sure some sound deadening will help reduce some of the wind noise.

    I have the 42" cutout with no lightbar installed right now.

    Anyone with a cutout gotten their rack in yet? I was hopping to get mine before my trip this week. Seems like many of the powdercoated racks are going though. Mine's bare aluminum but with cutout so that might be what's holding me up.
