Hi all, I've been lurking around this forum for awhile but haven't posted much... I've been trying to learn about my truck while not looking like a dumbass given I'm completely new to the off-roading world . After much research I just pulled the trigger on an OME lift with the 885 coils and a Dakar leaf pack which I am extremely excited about. I'd really like to do the install myself so I can learn more about my truck and hopefully have a better idea of how to fix things if they break on the trail. That being said, I have no good work space, limited tools, and extremely limited knowledge of the process, so I was wondering if anyone here has the experience, space, tools, and time to help me do the install? I can obviously provide $$ in addition to food and beer, but I would rather pay someone here to help me learn rather than a shop that won't let me watch. Thanks!

Welcome, i know how you feel i been doing the same thing for the last year and half. Currently deciding on a lift and i think i narrowed it down to the boss kit. Kind of waiting for the next meet and great so i can look at a couple before i pull the trigger.

I am not much help for install. as i am learning the same stuff. But someone on here will chime in if they can help or let you know when another mod day is.

 

Oh all I was looking for was a yes or no. I don't need too know all the info.

Welcome to the cult, most of us have done them or selves and could easily help with the install. Keep an eye out for mod days to come

 

@CC33 incase you have not seen we have one or two mod days around the south side of denver

 

I'm not cool, or a kid, but I find it enjoyable to sneak that in time to time.
