3rd Gen Magnetic Gray Thread

This. You can get color matched bumper on the OR with the package. You can't get color matched fenders.

 

I also can't read apparently, didn't realize this was about fenders, sorry!

 

It's filthy but here are a few pics, let me know if you want to see anything specific. I still need to remove the ARE decal and the dealer decals! Will look better without those on the back I think.

 

Are those emblems plasti dipped or did you use something else?

 

Ok, thanks everyone for the replies. Kind of what I was expecting. Back to my original question then, any chance someone can post a photo of their door jam sticker showing the color code for magnetic gray per the below link?

I'm glad someone got this topper on a MGM truck I've been seriously considering buying it for my DBSB but couldn't picture it. Not sure how I like it now seeing it on one. Thanks for posting!

1G3 is the code for magnetic gray metallic.

 

No prob, I really prefer the look with no topper myself but needed one for the dogs/camping in the back etc. I'm not sure I love it either, I thought the black would break up the grey nicely but all one color might've been better. I think it will look better with a lift and beefier tires I got a pretty good deal on this one, and it is supposedly a more reinforced shell so I just went for it. I think it would look better on a short bed, I saw one on a different short bed truck and it looked better.

The dogs seem to kind of like it anyway!

 

No problem. I was looking all over for pics before I pulled the trigger too, but just went for it. Somebody posted a pic of a quicksand one it looked pretty good

Ha! 6' flat footed. It was on a bit of a down hill slop, maybe that was it? I can't see all the way over with the roof in level ground.

Finally got my MGM yesterday. Waited 3 months for a LB with JBL and it was well worth it.

Pretty darn good starting price for that truck, with what looks like some well thought out mods.. Selling seems like an oddity.

 

Nice to see another MGM DC OR LB on here...good looking truck! Just got the call today that mine made it to town this afternoon and should be ready for pickup this weekend (been waiting since December).
