Yeah for sure. So this is now the infamous spot that ruined my buddies carpet. Time to go back and make it our bitch. I guess the trail leads out to a private beach.

No, unfortunately we didn't. So we watched one of the guys in front of us get stuck in a 40' "mud hole", and they proceeded to make a large rut while getting him out. Once they got him out, my buddy decides to try it in his 4runner. Both his wife and I advised against it, but he said eff it, and tried it anyways. He ended up picking the worst possible line, and went right into the rut the previous person had dug. He had water coming in his driver side, and his front passenger tire was up in the air. A lot of the trails in that area are fun, but pretty narrow. Both sides of my truck got scratched up pretty badly. Nothing that won't buff out, but it was like hearing nails on a chalkboard.

Yup, gotta love that sound. My first gen was black, this one is MGM like yours. MGM doesnt hide the scratches much better than the black did.

    Must. Be. Nice.

So we're probably not going to make it out there next weekend guys. There's just too much rain forecasted for this week.

I just polished and waxed everything except hood, roof and tailgate the other day. Got almost all the scratches out, and so buttery smooth when I touch it.

It does lead to a beach, I know exactly where the hole is that your body got into. It gets real tight after wards but the beach is nice

Maybe cut off those clamps, replace with regular hose clamps, pull the boots out and crank the clamps down.
